One of the highlights of my year is the Favorite Things party hosted by a dear friend. If you’ve never been to one, you’re missing out on a fun and creative way to exchange gift ideas—and trust me, it’s as entertaining as it sounds! Here’s how my friend’s party works:
Everyone brings two of the same gift, something that’s been their personal favorite over the past year. We then draw numbers to determine the order of selection. The twist? Only one of each item can be chosen in the first round, so there’s always a little competition to grab your favorites! Then, in the second round, we reverse the order, so if you’re last in the first round, you’re first to choose in the second.
What I love about this format is that it allows everyone to discover new products and learn about items they might not have known about. Plus, it’s a fantastic way to gather fresh gift ideas for the women in your life—whether it's for birthdays, holidays, or just because!
