This year, I was on a mission to soak in the best holiday light displays in South Orange County. I hit up Candy Cane Lane in Mission Viejo, Candy Cane Lane in Rancho Santa Margarita, Amato Street in Pacific Hills, and 15 Bainbridge in Ladera Ranch. But then I got curious about Canyon Crest. So, naturally, the husband and I did a full-blown tour—cruising every street and cul-de-sac. And because I'm thorough, I went back again solo for a second round.
There were tons of dazzling displays, but a few definitely stole the show. And thus, the Unofficial Canyon Crest Holiday Light Contest (that no one signed up for) was born.
After much deliberation (and several laps around the neighborhood), here are the top three winners of the inaugural contest. Each home received a coveted certificate of achievement and a fabulous prize.
If you haven't had the pleasure of seeing these homes yet, do yourself a favor and go check them out—you won't regret it!
I apologize for the very unprofessional photos—I promise my camera skills are still a work in progress and I always hire a professional for my listings! In no particular order (because who needs rankings when everything’s this awesome?)
